Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper, has revealed that he met his wife, Yinka Coker, at the club.
Speaking in a recent episode of the MENtality podcast co-hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Banky W, Vector said contrary to the stereotype that clubbers don’t make good wives, his wife is “super homely.”
The rapper disclosed this while stressing that it is not necessary to follow societal standards or every piece of advice when choosing a life partner, especially regarding meeting places.
“I met my woman in the club. You will not believe she is super homely. Who would have thought? What was the first attraction? She was rapping Heavy D. So, you can’t take advice when it comes to a life partner. The typical advice that I heard before then was that there were no good women in the club,” he said.
Vector added: “I am not saying you shouldn’t take any advice, you can have a few people who give you good counsel then on your own, you can decide what works for you.”
Vector and Yinka Coker tied the knot in a civil ceremony in December 2022 and have a daughter together.
