The Ekiti State Police Command has commenced investigations into the disappearance of Dandam Happiness, a 19-year-old woman who has been missing since August 10, 2026.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, disclosed in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday that Happiness left her residence at about 4pm on August 10 and has not returned. “She left her residence in Ado Ekiti on 10th August, 2026, at about 16.00 hours (4pm), to an unknown destination and has not returned since then,” the statement read.
The police described her as approximately 4.5 feet tall, fair in complexion, with no tribal marks, and fluent in English. Abutu noted that all efforts by relatives and friends to locate her have so far proved abortive.
He confirmed that the command has begun investigations to unravel her whereabouts and ensure her safe return. “The Command has begun an investigation to unravel her whereabouts,” he said.
The police appealed to members of the public with useful information to contact the nearest police station and urged residents to share the information widely to assist in locating the missing woman.
