FCT Police Arraign 3 Suspects Over Guzape Murder Case

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arraigned three suspects before an FCT High Court over the alleged murder of Adimike Godwin in Guzape, Abuja.
The suspects, identified as Adimike Odirachukwu Anthony, Adimike Chinyere Stephany and Comfort Ajibade, were brought before High Court 13, where they were charged in connection with the killing.

Anambra Court Remands Four Men Over Rape of Mentally Challenged Girl

The Anambra State Children, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Offences Court in Awka has remanded a businessman and three others alleged to have raped and impregnated a mentally challenged girl.
The defendants namely Christopher Nnamah, 54, Ndubuisi Ikechelu, 40, Chinecherem Emmanuel, 20, and Kennedy Udogu, 34, pleaded not guilty to the charge of rape during their arraignment on Thursday.

Reps Probe ₦1.3bn Allocation to Alleged Non-Existent Agency

The House of Representatives has launched an investigation into allegations that more than ₦1.3 billion was allocated in the 2026 Appropriation Act to a government agency the Presidency insists does not exist.
The House constituted an ad hoc committee to probe the controversy and directed it to interface with the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, the Director-General of the Budget Office, and other relevant officials.
